Treatment Coordinator


Meet Krystle. She’s been with Island Ortho since 2021. After working many years in dentistry, she came to work for Island Orthodontics. Krystle is one of our amazing Treatment Coordinators and really enjoys meeting new patients and guiding them through the treatment planning process. She loves spending time with her husband Andrew and their three children Ethan, Emma Jane, and Houston. She is very active in the church, enjoys reading, and traveling to visit family and friends.

Treatment & Financial Coordinator


Meet Shimeka. She’s been with Island Ortho since 2016 and has been the best financial coordinator we could ask for. She works with our patients to find a financial plan that works best for them, including managing all insurance. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has been married to her wonderful husband Todd for 6 years and has two amazing children, Travis: 17 and Trinity: 4.

Scheduling & Marketing Coordinator


Meet Lee. She’s been with Island Ortho sine 2016! Lee is the first smiling face you will see when you come into our office. She carries out an array of tasks including scheduling, financial functions, marketing, and contests in the Mobile office. She is truly the creative mind in the practice. One of her favorite things about working here is getting to know the patients. She enjoys seeing them grow up before her eyes and the amazing smile they leave with. She has been married to her husband Bradey for 30 years, and they have one son, Jacob. In her spare time she likes gardening, fishing, and traveling around the country watching Jacob in his college football career.

Scheduling Coordinator


Meet Alana. She has been with Island Ortho since July 2022. She is the first one you see when you enter our office. She works with our patients on scheduling their appointments, taking payments and tries to make sure everyone feels as comfortable as possible when they come in. In her spare time Alana enjoys going mud riding and fishing with her fiancé Parker while also planning their upcoming wedding.

Sterilization Technician


Meet Cassidy. She joined Island Orthodontics in 2020. Cassidy helps keep things running smoothly with all our sterilization or lab needs. She is cross trained from the front to the back of the office. In her spare time, she enjoys waiting for the arrival of her baby boy and spending time with her family.

Orthodontic Assistant


Meet Angie. She’s been with Island Ortho since 2019. Angie joined the Island Orthodontics team as an assistant after working in oral surgery for 35 years. She believes in building relationships with our patients and getting to know them as individuals. She feels like this is an important part of a successful treatment process. She has been married to her husband Frankie for 30 years, and they have two precious children. She is very involved in her church, enjoys the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Orthodontic Assistant


Meet Crystal. She's been with Island Ortho since May of 2022. She came to us from Fortis College, where she recently earned her certificate as a dental assistant in May of 2022. Crystal started with us as a lab technician, and has now moved up to a full time orthodontic assistant. She makes sure every patient leaves comfortable and with a happy smile. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the guitar, which she is very good at, and spending time with family.
